AMERICAN CAR IMPORTS RACING ATTENDS AMERICAN AUTO CLUB SUMMERNATIONALS
American Car Imports Racing will attending the American Auto Club Summernationals at Billing Aquadrome on the 14th and 15th June with a highly prominent display of the new ACI Racing Trailer and Dragster. Dave "Grumpy" Wilson will be there to meet his many supporters within the American Car scene and he will be joined by Anthony Cohen, Director of American Car Imports with the teams New 5.7 Hemi Dodge Ram tow vehicle, and George Greves with his ACI Racing Ford Lightning. With several of the ACI racing teams sponsors already having stands at this show, such as US Automotive and North Hants Tyres, this will be an excellent event to promote the strong link between Dragracing and the American Car Scene. The AACUK Summernationals is the largest American Car show in the UK and is likely to attract over 5,000 American vehicles and 20,000 visitors per day. The facilities at Billing Aquadrome will include a Fun Fair, Bars, Restaurants, Boating, Jet-Ski Hire, Americana and Auto Related Trade Stands. There will be Arena commentary & displays of USA vehicles or every type! Cars, Vans, Pick-Ups, RVs, and Harley's with concours awards in many categories. Evening events are held in a HUGE floored marquee with sound stage and fully licensed bar. Another very special guest appearance at the show will be made by Al(the Lawman)Eckstrand who many will remember as one of those early Drag Racers that helped made the sport so famous. The Lawman was introduced into the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame in 2000 as a result of his racing career.
