02/07/2003 DODGE RAM PHOTO SHOOT FOR INTERNATIONAL TV American Car Imports has signed a deal for the 2003 racing season with Power Racing Promotions / Image Wizard TV to sponsor the leader boards in Top Fuel and Pro Stock of the FIA and FIM European Drag Racing Championships for all programmes in the world. Interviews with all winning drivers will take place in front of a backdrop with the ACI and FIA logos at all races from Finland onwards. On Sunday, the 22nd of June, the team’s tow vehicle has been photographed at Santa Pod in front of the Christmas Tree – also with the aim to promote Santa Pod itself! The magnificent red 2003 Dodge Ram, powered by the new 5.7 HEMI V8 engine with 345 bhp, will be seen in its full livery and kitted out with loads of accessories in all bumper breaks in all UK shows for Top Fuel / Pro Stock and Methanol Dragsters and Funny Cars. The Ram thoroughly enjoyed all the fuss and all the posing on the unusual tarmac… just look at the teaser shot below!  All this is done with the idea in mind to promote drag racing in general and the activities of American Car Imports in the fastest motorsport on the planet more intensely than ever. People all over Europe will be able to see it from a comfy chair on their small screen…
