03/05/2002 ACI RACING GO LIKE LIGHTNING American Car Imports Racing are very proud to give a preview of the new appearance of their new Top Methanol dragster. Anthony Cohen, Director of American Car Imports said "With a new 2002 Ford Lightning pickup emerging out of the side of the dragster, American Car Imports is showing American car owners and race fans that ACI is determined to promote the strong link that exists between American vehicles and drag racing. The Ford Lightning is virtually a factory made dragster. It develops 380 BHP and gets to 60mph in just 5.8 seconds. One of ACI's customers has now run the quarter mile in 13 seconds!"  The new look was developed by three of American Car Import Racing's marketing partners. The design itself was the brainchild of Bob Klevenhagen at Total Design, which is a multi disciplinary design consultancy with a clear understanding of marketing and commercial reality. Their speciality, refined by 25 years of experience, is to produce solutions that work for you. Total Design provide consultancy services on all aspects of communication, corporate and brand marketing strategy and are also specialists in all aspects of electronic and printed advertising media. The paint work for the new livery was applied as a result of a lot of hard work by all the staff at Master Repairs and Servicing.
