11/01/2003 - Autosport International Show 2003  As predicted, the stand was an amazing sight. Visitors were drawn to the cars (pictured below), the gas plasma screens on which a DVD of racing footage was playing, as well as two Sony PlayStation 2 pods. The DVD footage can be found at www.americancarimports.com. American Car Imports had moved their entire office up to the NEC for most of the week, including this weekend. They had telephone and internet access from the stand so that they could answer their customers queries from Birmingham. The following picture shows the dragster as the centre-piece of the stand, in front of a brand new sparkling Hummer H2. On the left hand side of the picture you can see the ACI logo below which was in-short, a small office, in which orders could be taken and fliers found.  The second picture shows the front of the dragster perched on the back of a Ford Lightning pickup truck. From this angle the other screen is visible as well and the two PlayStation pods behind the dragsters left rear wheel.  All in all we spent an excellent weekend up at the NEC surrounded by amazing stands, wonderful cars and people keen on giving things away! A great day was had by visitors.
