QUICK TIMES, FAST TIMES AND GOOD
TIMES IN POMONA, USA
American Car Imports had a vary successful outing at
their first race whilst competing with their new car. At the NHRA K&N Filters
Winternationals in Pomona, California the team qualified in the 13th position
with a 5.62 at 253 mph! That run means they are now the quickest and fastest Top
Alcohol Dragster team based outside of North America as well as the first British
team to run over 250 mph.
In eliminations a red light in the first round ended
the weekend but on that run they still improved the speed mark to a whopping 255.23
