29/04/2002 JOIN THE TEAM AS OUR NEW CREW MEMBER! We are looking for an experienced mechanic to join the American Car Imports Racing team. You would be responsible for maintaining the bottom end of the engine at the race track and back at the workshop as well as doing whatever else is needed to keep the car on the drag strip. Good mechanical skills and a careful work manner are essential, as are a strong team spirit and the ability to work under pressure. Joining the team means committing to attending all the races on our schedule and working on the car between races (typically for two days). You will need to be available immediately to train alongside our current bottom end man before he returns to the USA in mid June. A lot of dedication and hard work will be involved, but in return you will get free entry to all the races on our schedule, the chance to travel Europe with us and the opportunity to work on the quickest and fastest Top Methanol dragster outside of North America.
