29/06/2003 T.J. O’BRIEN RUNNER-UP AT SPRC SUMMERNATIONALS T.J. O’Brien, who races a Suzuki 1000cc bike in the Supertwin Modified 10.90 class, had a very good weekend during the SPRC Summernationals in Santa Pod on 28th/29th June despite being not quite matching his best ET of 10.2 seconds at 131 mph.  T.J. is a regular visitor at American Car Imports, he’s actually working in Coburg Road, based in the same road in Wood Green. So we’re delighted to see him doing well. On Sunday in the finals, T.J.’s elapsed time of 10.825 seconds at 126.43 mph was beaten by Simon Hodgson’s 9.801 seconds at a top speed of 144.87 mph. Have a look at the photos below, which show a very happy T.J. O’Brien receiving his well deserved trophy… and him being a Guinness lover as best proof for the old saying, that Guinness is good for strength! Sometimes these things can become true…
