My dealings with "American Car Imports" was a first just a few years ago - as was my experience of owning an American car. As such I was naturally concerned about paying up-front at that time. These concerns proved unnessessary however and American Car Imports were totally reliable and trustworthy. I was as satisfied with my dealings with ACI as I have been with my New Lincoln Navigator. Due to the nature of my job I ordered my new Corvette C6 for delivery in 6 months time over the phone having never met Jon or Anthony and after reaching a suitable part ex price for my C5. On confirming my order I was sent a fully detailed specification file on the car and delivery date. They arranged the transfer on to retention certificate of the number from my C5 and the retention certificate was sent to me. Prior to my order I had researched the dealer facilities available in the UK and decided to go for the knowledgeable enthusiast rather than the man in the suit at the main UK dealers for Chevrolet and every other make of car. The car was in London on time, at the exact price agreed with factory and after market extras fitted. When I attended their premise's meeting Jon (for the first time) to collect my car I was impressed with the informal but professional manner, and enthusiasm for American vehicles. Once formalities were completed I was given a "tour " of the car and was advised my address was already programmed into the Sat Nav for my trip home, excellent. I will also be buying my next Corvette from them and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. M.H |
American Car Imports are the business. They can find any model; they know the cars inside out and all around and know everything each model needs to make it a beast/luxury cruiser/hi tech monster. The communication throughout the buying process is spot-on and you are always in the picture to where the car is and the schedule they give you when you first call, is within a day or two of when you collect the car.
